The 10th Asean University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Training Course for Accomplishing Programme Assessment (Version 4.0) has continued in a full mode of face-to-face operation during 15-18 November 2022. Almost thirty personnels from notable universities in Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Viet Nam have participated and extensively engaged in the training. The training was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The continuation of the AUN-QA onsite training denotes the unceasing development of the AUN-QA operation for quality assurance prospects in the post-pandemic era.

The AUN-QA Training Course for Accomplishing Programme Assessment (also known as AUN-QA Tier 1 Training) was led by four coaches:

  1. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Kay Chuan, from National University of Singapore (Lead Coach)
  2. Prof. Dr. Arnulfo P. Azcarraga, from De La Salle University (Coach)
  3. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamolwan Lueprasert, from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (Coach)
  4. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ornsiri Cheunsuang, from Chulalongkorn University (Coach).

The AUN-QA Tier 1 Training Batch 10 is left in the hands of these talented coaches, and it remained a success with positive feedback from the attendees.

The AUN-QA Tier 1 Training offers a carefully thought-out structure for productive training outcomes. Participants who have completed the training will be able to identify the elements of a quality assurance ecosystem after completing the training. Additionally, they will analyze the AUN-QA programme assessment model, its criteria, and requirements while putting the 4As iterative framework to use in implementing the AUN-QA program framework. They can also spot gaps in performing the AUN-QA programme assessment and fill such gaps professionally. Finally, participants will become familiar with producing the AUN-QA self-assessment report for program assessment.
