THE 4TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES (AICOSH)

Call for Papers:
The Faculty of Social and Humanity Sciences at the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, Indonesia, is delighted to invite submissions for their annual international conference under the theme “HUMANITY IN WAR AND CONFLICT: BEYOND SPACE AND TIME”
The year 2022 inherits several ongoing catastrophic conflicts from the previous years, ranging from Russia’s invasion on Ukraine, the insurgence of Taliban in Afghanistan, to the endless Israel’s armed assaults on Palestine. Not to mention the less exposed cases of human rights violations such as India-Pakistan territorial dispute over Kashmir, the persecution of Rohingya people in Myanmar, and the alleged genocide of Uyghur people in China. Not limited to armed war and conflicts, information warfare in the digital space has also been an alarming humanity issue in today’s world.
The conference aims to bring together researchers from various nationalities and scientific disciplines, to disseminate their research, and ultimately discuss the significance, influence, and potential contributions of Social and Humanity Sciences on war and conflict issues. Submissions may involve either quantitative, qualitative, or mix-method research that employ a robust research methodology. The conference expects to see different perspectives in approaching the aforementioned issue. The selected research papers will be included in the conference proceeding and published by Atlantis Press which is part of Springer Nature (Scopus).
